The feast is over but thanks to the La Vittoria Band Club the memories stay. Thanks to your cameras, I did not miss much and enjoyed every minute of it, it was almost like being there. My Mother (Rose Xuereb) is from there. I have two Uncles, Joe and Charlie. Auntes: Annie, Maria and Teresa. Their nickname is Ta Janjula on my Grandfathers side, and on my Grandmother side is Ta Guzmus.
Lots of cousins still in Mellieha. sahha...

As the the feast day approaches I was thinking about my both great grandfathers ( Guiseppi Muscat & Angelo Abela) both founding members of the La Vittoria Band Club. Also many of my father's uncles as well as my father who were all bandsmen with this great band. What would they think knowing people from any part of the world can view this famous feast live in the comfort of their home? Congratulations and thanks to all for making this possible.

Thanks to the internet we, that are far away from Mellieha can enjoy the Feast of Our Lady from our far away home. I personally am very grateful to the La Vittoria Band Club and would like to thank the band club for streaming the festivities. Us Melliehin are very lucky to have two band clubs streaming the feast. On my behalf and I am sure for every other Melliehi away from home, I would like to say Thank You to the people responsible for streaming the feast. I would also like to say hello to my good friend Joe Fenech (il-Funny) and also to Wayne Bartolo and of course I wish all the Melliehin all around the world, il-Festa it-Tajba.
